Kiley at Three

Height: 42 inches

Weight: 41 pounds

I really can't believe Kiley is 3 already! It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Time truly flies by faster and faster each year.
Such a big girl, guess daddy bought her the basketball hoop for a reason. Now, he just needs to be home to work with her on how to shoot a basketball. I am not sure I should be the one to teach her. I spent more time on the floor of the court, than shooting baskets!

Kiley's favorite shows right now are Wonder Pets, Toy Story, Shrek, and Whale Wars. She loves riding her jeep, especially when Daddy is mowing the yard. She enjoys swimming and even pretend swimming in the bathtub. She dips her nose in, closes her eyes and "dives" for toys. It is very entertaining to watch! She also loves to help Mommy and Daddy cook. I have also been watching her mimic me and Ally with her dolls. It's weird when you can hear exactly what you sound like when you listen to her.
Kiley has also developed her Daddy's love for animals. She loves going to the zoo, feeding the animals at the local game ranch and petting every dog that walks in her path. At home, she enjoys taking care of her stuff animals and pretending to be a vet when they are injured.
At this time, she also enjoys being a big sister! What a big help she can be! I can count on her to fetch items and rock Ally when I need a little help trying to get out the door. I am truly blessed to have such a good helper. I hope it continues.

Happy Birthday, Kiley!

Well, there is only one way to celebrate your 3rd birthday and that is to have 3 parties! Kiley was pretty set on having a "blue" birthday cake and NO balloons(since the last balloon she had popped on the ceiling, she has not wanted any balloon since). We did our best in making her happy.

First party: Hilton Head, SC with Grandma Pam, Grandpa Bill, Uncle Billy, Aunt Michele, Cousin Will, Mommy, Daddy and Allyson.

Second Party: Monroe, GA with Grandma Sara, Mommy, Daddy and Allyson. Grandma Sara helped Mommy create a blue butterfly cake for Kiley. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. Kiley had a great time helping and eating the icing.

Third and Final Party(Thank goodness!): Monroe, Ga with the Lance, Teck, Flannagan, Connor, Wassel, Waters, and Gilbert (represented by Steve) Families. We are so fortunate to have such great friends and family to celebrate with! The kids (and adults) had an awesome time sliding down the 20 foot water slide. I have to admit, I think I had just as much fun as the kids did...until the next day. The older bodies did not bounce back as easily as the kids did. Thank you all that joined us to celebrate Kiley's big day!

Ally: 2 months

Weight: 10lbs. 2 oz (25-50 percentile)

Height: 23 inches (75 percentile)

Head Cir. 38 (25 percentile)

Ally is doing great. She goes to bed around 9:30-10:30 pm and wakes between 5:00 and 7:00 am. Not too bad for 2 months. We could not be happier. She is a great and an easy going baby. We hope she stays that way. She is really smiling big and talking.
